Kingsbury; Claire Hood Kingsbury, age 78, of Trumbull, died April 18, 2005, in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Kingsbury was born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late John and Marie Hood and was a Trumbull resident since 1960. She was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, class of 1946. She spent twenty five years working as a social worker in the Chiid Welfare Department and retiring as the supervisor of the Family Daycare Licening Unit for the State of Connecticut. One of her greatest joys was helping others, especially children and one of her favorite pastimes was playing bridge.
