Claire Kennedy, 66, of Bristol passed away Friday (February 5, 2010) at Hospital for Special Care in New Britain. She was born on December 15, 1943 in Charlestown, Mass. and was the daughter of the late William and Grace (Young) Kennedy. Formerly of Maine, she moved to Terryville Connecticut in the late 1960’s. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by Quality Coils, Inc., in Bristol, for nearly 20 years and had been the owner of Fashion Nails in Waterbury, Ct.. She is survived by her two children, Mark Lewis and his wife, Benniece, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Michelle (Lewis) Gibson and her husband, Mark, of Bristol and her grandsons, Noah and Chase Gibson. She is also survived by two sisters, Charlene Zukowski and her husband, Edward, of Terryville, Patricia McGlugtrich and her husband, Braden, of Moore, Okla. as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Grace Chevalier of Chesapeake, Va. She loved crafting, crocheting, decorating and playing on her computer but the real joy in her life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
