Eckman, of Plymouth, Claire Blanche (Shelzi), age 90, died March 7, 2007 at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. She was the devoted wife of the late Edwin C. Eckman, Sr. and loving mother of Edwin C. Eckman, Jr. of Plymouth, Marilynn C. O’Flaherty and her husband Richard of East Bridgewater, The late Robert Dougherty, and the late Tammy Webb. She was the beloved sister of Joseph Shelzi of North Port FL, and William Shelzi and his wife Nancy of Stuart FL. She was the cherished grandmother of 4. A Service will be held at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St. Plymouth, Monday, March 12, at 10:00 am. Friends may call at the Cartmell Funeral Home on Sunday From 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
