Cindy Counts Sanford, age 61 of Tarrant, AL passed away on October 31, 2015 in Birmingham, AL. Cindy was born on June 28, 1954 to Virginia and Culton Counts. She grew up in Tarrant and moved to South Florida for 10 years before moving back home. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter to her family and will be truly missed by all her friends from old time Tarrant. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Vernon Culton Counts and father-in-law, Elton C. Sanford. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, John Ronald Sanford; daughter, Amy Cheree Sanford; mother, Virginia Counts; brother, Roderick V. Counts (Sharon); sisters, Sherry Levan (Ronald) and Leslie Dawn Tatum (Larry); 3 nephews and 4 nieces and a multitude of other family and friends.
