Cindy Ann Griffin, age 56, of Grafton, passed away, Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Detroit, MI, September 30, 1956, a daughter of the late Ervin Alfred Rabideau and Gladys (Shepherd) Shahan, who survives of Michigan. Cindy was retired, having worked as a union carpenter. She was a member of Carpenters Union Local 604, of Bridgeport, WV. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her grandchildren. She was a Christian by faith.
In addition to her mother she is survived by: one son, Ricky Alfred Rabideau and wife Amanda, of Howesville; and one daughter, Melissa Ann Griffin and fiancé’ Aaron O’Brien, of Grafton, four grandsons, Justice and Ricky Rabideau, Alexander and Christopher Knotts; one granddaughter, Zoe Knotts; two sisters, Debbie Gauze, of Independence, and Sherry Drainer, of Michigan.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one brother, Ervin Rabideau.
