Born in Mantoudi, Evias, Greece, he was the son of the late Stergios and Aspasia Stamopoulos (Zografou). He was raised and educated in Mantoudi, Greece. He also proudly served in the Greek navy prior to immigrating to the US at the age of 21. After many years of hard work here in the U.S., he achieved his first dream of opening his own business. This is when he opened Upton House of Pizza. He later purchased his commercial fishing vessel, named Mantoudi, which he owned and operated for several years until his retirement.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his four children, Aspen (Aspasia) Andromidas and her husband Yianni, of Danvers, MA, Stela Kourkouliotis and her husband George, of Upton, MA, Lina Stamopoulos of Xalkida, Evias, Greece, and Stergios Stamopoulos, of Upton, MA. He is also survived by his most adored grandchildren, Stefanos and Christos Kourkouliotis, and Dimitris Andromidas.
He is predeceased by his brother, Yiannis Stamopoulos and survived by his two sisters, Ioanna (Loula) Vassou of Prokopi, Evias, Greece and Nikoletta (Nikki) Giouroukelis of Sydney, Australia.

Christos was a simple man who loved to laugh and help anyone in need.
He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
