Christopher Thomas Acklam, 31, survived by his adoring parents Dorothy and Chris Acklam, sisters Tameria Kay Conrad and Charity Conrad Benson, brother-in-law Glenn Benson, nephews Hunter and Colvin Benson, niece Ava Benson, his dogs Cazy and Remi, and many loving family members and friends. An honest, kind hearted, straight shooter who embraced life, family, friends, and work, Christopher will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Christopher started his own welding business, Acklam Fabrication, immediately after graduating from Brighton High School and worked tirelessly at it through thick and thin. He enjoyed golfing, motorcycling, snowboarding, bowling, and animals, and was phenomenally gifted and talented in welding works of art. Well read but humble, Christopher was loyal and always had the back of his family and friends, for whom he cared deeply.
