Mr. Christopher Rivers Jr. of Killeen, Texas was born February 6, 1992 to Christopher and Sherneatha Rivers. in Fort Hood, Texas. He confessed his faith in Christ in Columbus, Ohio and was a member of Faith Ministries in Columbus, Ohio.
Christopher was a 2010 graduate of Worthington Christian High School in Worthington, Ohio where he was active in track, basketball, football and played the saxophone in band. As a student he went on several mission trips to the Dominican Republic. He graduated from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management. He served in the United States Army from February 2015 to October 2018.
Mr. Rivers married Makaela Lawson November 4, 2017 in Belton.
He leaves to celebrate his legacy and cherish his memory, a loving wife Makaela Rivers of Killeen; father Christopher Rivers Sr. of Houston, Texas, mother Sherneatha G. Gray of Lutz, Florida and step father Thomas Gray; Mother-in-Law Christina Matulik, God Parents (Kelmon & Jackie Taylor, Eric Lawless, and Charles & Cheryl Noble), one brother Jonathan Rivers of Mississippi and three sisters Algee (Naee) Rivers of Texas, Devin Rivers of Illinois and Bri Gatlin of Alabama, best friends Phil & Angelique Ross, Chris Noble, Duron Travier and a host of relatives and friends.
