Christopher Ray Marshall of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on January 12th, 2021 at NE Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia after a long illness.
Chris was born March 25, 1966, in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Ray Marshall and Sandra Ellis Marshall. During Chris’ growing-up years the family lived in Phoenix Arizona, Los Angeles California, Houston Texas, Denver Colorado, and Atlanta Georgia.
Chris graduated from George Walton High School in Marietta Georgia in 1984 and then attended North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Georgia where he later settled. My favorite hobbies were riding dirt bikes and flying remote-controlled airplanes.
Pre-deceasing Chris was his mother, Sandra Ellis Marshall, and his younger sister, Dawn Marie Marshall-Montenegro.
Surviving Chris is his father, Ray Marshall, stepmom, Yajaira Medina Marshall, his nephew, Kai Montenegro all of Kingwood Texas, and the love of his life and partner of many years, Renita Dillon. The extended family includes Renee Foster, nephew, Joshua Williams, and niece Kathleen Williams all of Stockbridge, GA.
