Christopher Randall Laird, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
Christopher was a graduate of Parkview High School. He earned a Bachelor of Political Science Degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Villanova University.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Mabel and William Laird, Susie and Wilbur Keck, and father Randall T. Laird.
He is survived by his spouse Valerie Holcombe, daughter Olivia Acosta, mother Suzanne Keck Laird, brother and sister-in-law Bart and Vanessa Laird, uncle Richard Keck, and three cousins Elizabeth Freeman, William Keck, and Katherine Keck.
Christopher filled so many people’s lives with his love, laughter, teaching, leadership, and awesome stories. His charismatic personality left an imprint on everyone who knew him. Christopher will be remembered as a wonderful son, the best brother, a loving husband, a proud father, and a loyal friend.
