Christopher Pace Sr., a native of Coffeeville and a resident of mobile, traded his earthly life for eternity Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 while at the Montgomery Hospital.

Christopher was born Dec. 29, 1952 to the late Willie Pace and Annie Walker Pace. “Little Buddy,” as his family referred to him, confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of the Church of Christ in Coffeeville.

He was a 1975 graduate of Coffeeville High School, where he loved football and basketball. Following graduation, he moved to Mobile and was employed as a security guard and a taxi driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Willieodean Smith Thomas; brothers Frank Pace, Bobby Pace and Grant Pace; grandparents, Gayle and Parlee Pace, and Louise and Grant Walker; and nephew, Johnny Earl Pace.

Left to cherish his loving memory are one son, Christopher (Tineka) Pace of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sisters, including his twin, Christine Pace Lucas of Quitman, Miss., and Louise (Joseph) Thornton of Coffeeville; seven grandchildren, Breunchka Griffin, Jacoby Pace, Darius Pace, Tavis Pace, Cedrick Pace and Jayda Pace; three great-grandchildren, Journee, Jordyn and Jokenrley; two sisters-in-law, Mary Pace of Quitman, Miss., and Barbara Jean Pace of Mobile; many nieces and nephews, one devoted nephew, Marciano (Jasmine) Thornton; with a host of cousins and friends.
