Christopher M. Rider, age 50, of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, October 13th in Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of 19 years to Kimberly (Forte) Rider and loving father of Autumn Rider of Plymouth. Brother of Richard Sorrell and his wife Melanie of Jacksonville FL, Ramona Murray of Lowell, MI, David Sorrell and his partner Karen Techiera of Avon, CJ Rider of Downingtown PA, Laurie Venezia and her husband Michael of Lancaster, PA, Phillip Sorrell and his partner Jennifer Willoughby of Brockton, and Kathi Farrell of Stoughton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Christopher was born in Chelsea on March 28, 1971, son of Gerald Rider and the late Alice C. (Kilroy) Rider. He was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1989, and Massasoit Community College. Christopher was a Logistics Coordinator for over 20 years. He loved nature and animals. Whether it was fishing, gardening, watching the bald eagles that nested across from his home, or walks with his wife and daughter. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughter Autumn, such as when they would play tennis together. Christopher was very handy. He had no problem tackling the DIY projects around the house, woodworking, painting, etc. He also had an immense passion for music.
