Chris Ochman, age 62, resident of Milford, died suddenly and peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Born on January 13, 1949 in Bridgeport, he was the son of Carmen Yates Ochman and the late Stanley Ochman. Chris was a sensitive, gentle man who led a simple life. He was a talented plumber and enjoyed collecting, fishing and watching the Yankees.
In addition to his mother, Carmen, he is survived by his two sons, Christopher Ochman, Jr. of West Haven and Mark Ochman of Milford whom he loved and was so proud, three cherished grandchildren, Christopher III, Danielle and Jacob Ochman. Also, he will be sadly missed by his sisters, Cathy, Barb and Trish and his loving brother Mike and his wife Susan. In addition to his father and mentor, Stanley, Chris was predeceased by his sister Liz Yarson. Chris’s passing will leave a hole in the heart of his best friend, Larry Lasky and all who knew what a generous spirit he had.
