Christopher Morris Clarke, 79, Boca Raton, formerly of Richmond, VA passed away peacefully on March 3, 2011.
Survivors include his loving wife, Frances (Spud), children Heather Trieschmann of Lake Worth, FL and Christopher James Clarke of Raleigh, NC, 4 brothers, Warren Clarke, Austin Clarke, Robert “RD” Clarke, Llewellyn Clarke and 5 sisters, Lois Wilmore, Mary Jean Wilmore, Barbara Childs, Leona Medlin, Audrey Thomas and four grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, Davis and Jameson.
Born on Nov. 3, 1931 in Tappahannock, VA to James and Julia Clarke, Christopher was the third child out of 9 siblings. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served his country during the Korean war. After the war, Christopher moved to Maryland where he became a programmer for IBM and met his partner for life, “Spud”. Chris continued his work with IBM for 36 1/2 years and relocated his wife and two children to Boca Raton, FL in 1982, where he would eventually retire. He was a loving father and husband whose hobbies included reading, art, fishing and doing puzzles.
