Christopher Lee Dakon, 50 of Fellowsville, WV, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 12, 1960 in Balitmore, MD, son of Virginia Pauline Weaver Dakon, of Oakland MD and the late Charles Edward Dakon. Chris was a surveyor for Laurel Mining Consultants for several years, his hobby was coon and bear hunting. In addition to his mother he is survived by one son, Matthew Lee Dakon; one daughter, Megan Amber Dakon; three grandchildren, Lucas Lee Dakon, Lilly Dawn Dakon, Hayden Ryan Barto; one brother, Joseph Dakon; five sisters, Ellie Slagle, Dorothy Rockhold, Tuesday Stein, Toni Frush and Rebecca Shoemaker; In addition to his father, Chris was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Darlene Baylor Dakon in 2000; two brothers, Michael and Adam Dakon, one granddaughter, Autumn Barto.
