Christopher Joseph Lee, 17, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Christopher was born September 4, 2003, in Ames, IA, to Paul Lee and Pam (Waldo) Murphy. As he grew up, Chris found that he was drawn to sports, trying out many different things throughout his junior high and high school career, like football, wrestling, but especially running. He enjoyed participating in 4H and competing in obstacle course mud runs. After receiving his high school diploma, Christopher worked as a service technician for Alternative Rain Irrigation.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Paul (Jeanne) Lee and Pam (Michael) Murphy; siblings, Elizabeth (Brian) Sullivan of Madrid, IA, Alicia Redding of Shelby, MI, Hannah Lee of Shelby, MI, and brother, Benjamin Lee of Cambridge, IA; grandparents, Joyce & Harley Waldo of Shelby, MI, and Ruth Lee of Huxley, IA; He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jacob Lee.
