Christopher L. Zapor, 33, of Newington, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 25, 2015. He was the beloved son of William R. Zapor, Jr. and Valerie (Camara) Zapor of Newington and brother of Stephanie Zapor of Plymouth. Born in Hartford, he was a lifelong Newington resident. Chris was a compassionate, empathetic soul, especially to the less fortunate. He enjoyed writing poetry, listening to all types of music and nurturing plants. Above all things, he loved spending time with his family. Along with his parents and sister, he leaves his grandparents, Florence Baril of Venice, FL and Grandma Ann Camara of Centerville, MA. He also leaves his aunts and uncles, Edmond and Noreen Camara of Newington, Bev Robinson and Pete Avitabile of Amherst, NH, Pam and Terry Sischo of Grand Rapids, MI, Elaine Kane of Coventry and Steve and Sarah Camara of VA, many cousins and his two beloved dogs, Sonny and Lucy. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Barbara Camara, William R. Zapor, Sr., Leonard “Papa” Baril, and Edmund Camara and his uncle, Dean Paul.
