Christopher James Owens, age 15, of Bristow, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Born on September 4, 2000, he leaves behind his father and mother, Chris and Tracy Owens. Christopher had a great love for his family and enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, competing in Spartan Races, fishing, hiking and anything that involved being outdoors. He was a freshman at Brentsville High School. Christopher was a precious young man. His signature green eyes, red hair, freckles and huge smile will be remembered by all who knew him. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all. He was a member of Battlefield Baptist Church in Warrenton. Christopher is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Sandy Hager, and paternal grandmother, Vickie Hall; Aunts Kellie (Matt) Swett, Tammy (Robert) Taylor, Tara Owens and Lora Hall, in addition to many cousins. Christopher is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Hager, and aunt, Annie Hager. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday evening, October 29, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Battlefield Baptist Church, 4361 Lee Highway, Warrenton, Va.
