Waterbury – Christopher James Commendatore, 54, of Waterbury, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Commendatore was born in Waterbury on April 15, 1960, a son of Salvatore and Sandra (Peters) Commendatore of Waterbury. He was employed as a quality control manager at Meriden Manufacturing. He was a loving father and enjoyed coin collecting, reading, cooking, crossword puzzles and music. He also was an avid New York Jets and Yankees fan.
Besides his parents, Mr. Commendatore is survived by a daughter, Cristina Commendatore of New Haven, and a son, Eric Commendatore of Riverside, Calif.; two brothers, David Commendatore of Waterbury and Steve Commendatore of Waterbury; his aunt, Rose Borgeson of Cheshire; and his former wife, Donna Lea (Hawley) Commendatore.
