Christopher H. West III, age 84 years, died on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Harborside Health Care in Plymouth, following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Helen (Whitmore) West, and the son of the late Christopher H. and Esme (Robertson) West II. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on April 18, 1935. Chris became a journeyman machinist working for Canadian Pacific Railroad in Saskatchewan and Montreal, and for Thompson Canada Rivet in Gananoque, Ontario, where for many years he was active in local museum activities. He and Helen moved to Braintree where Chris worked and retired from Textron in Braintree. Chris was a history buff, an avid reader, especially enjoying biographies, and a favorite to read about was Winston Churchill. He liked to listen to country music and was a friend of Bill. He will be forever lovingly remembered by his wife Helen, daughters, Julie Outar and Mike McCarthy, Cyndi Robar and her husband Kip of Colton, NY, grandson Luke, and sisters April Vyas of Calgary, Alberta, Canada of Sarasota, FL, and Grey West of Ottawa,
