WINSTED –CASSESE – Christopher H. Cassese, 52, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2020 at home. Born October 7, 1967 in Winsted; the son of Russel Cassese of Canaan and the late Pamela (Cassese) Bazzano who passed in January. Chris grew up in Winsted and graduated from Oliver Wolcott Technical High School. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and camping. Even though life was challenging, Chris was always good natured and optimistic. He will be forever missed by his family. In addition to his Dad, he is survived by his brother, Joseph Cassese and wife Heather of FL; sister, Denise Torson and husband Mark of Winsted; uncle, Dennis Defosie of FL; and nieces and nephews, Cara Torson and Michael Torson, both of Winsted and Amanda Cassese and Ezekiel Cassese, both of FL.
