Christopher E. “Uncle Chris” Alewine, 43 of Valley passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at EAMC at Opelika. Survivors include his Wife, Tina Alewine; 3 Children, Christopher A. Alewine; Christina A. Alewine; Alaina G. Alewine – Valley, AL; Parents, Edward & Shelly Alewine – Valley, AL; 2 Sisters, Tonya Alewine – Valley, AL and Brandy Booth (Daniel) – Beulah; 7 Nieces & Nephews; Special Niece, Tammy Berry. He was a graduate of Valley High School and worked as a manager for Superior Gas in Lanett. He enjoyed being with his family and loved to do yardwork and spending time in the mountains. He also was an avid Alabama Fan and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
