Christopher Duval Thompson was born to Jean Butler Thompson (deceased) and Joseph Timothy Thompson (deceased) on December 13, 1963. He departed this life at First Health Hospice care facility on September 26, 2018 at 7:00pm.
Christopher grew up in West End, NC. He attended West End Elementary and Pinecrest High School. He worked at the Seven Lakes Restaurant for 7 years and at Mary’s Restaurant in Carthage, NC for 6 years. He always loved being outdoors. He helped many neighborhood people. He was well-liked throughout the community. His greatest passion was with children, not having children of his own, Christopher was very attentive to his nieces & nephews.
He grew up attending church at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He accepted Christ before God called him home.
Christopher is survived by his sisters, Gloria Butler of West End, NC; Cassandra Butler of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Joseph Thompson (Terry) of Raeford, NC, and Darryl Thompson of Washington, D.C., and a host of nieces and nephews; 2 aunts, Virginia Walker of Southern Pines, NC and JoAnne Butler of Capitol Heights, Maryland; one uncle, George Robertson (Kathy) of Aberdeen, NC.
