Chris was born March 5, 1971, in Shelbyville, Kentucky, the son of David Benjamin Vaughan and Beth Ann Wildman. He was married to Jane Vaughan and she survives him. He was employed with Oxford Home Health as a nurse and had previously worked for the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.Chris loved his children, watching them grow and playing sports. He loved people, he was a pilot and loved to fly and was an avid reader.In addition to his wife, survivors include his father, David (Judy) Vaughan of Boerne; his mother Beth Ann Vaughan of Jefferson City; his children Lauren Elizabeth Vaughan and Colin Christopher Vaughan of Ashland; two stepsons, Joe Martin and Andy Martin; five step-grandchildren, Kelsey, Jaden, Alie and Lexus; brothers, Michael Robert Wildman of Greensboro, North Carolina, Alan Vaughan of Boerne; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
