Christopher Daniel Shipley, 41, passed away Feb. 24, 2022. He was born Oct. 7, 1980, to Rocky and Ermelinda Shipley. His father, James Rocky Shipley, precedes him in death along with grandparents, James and Mary Shipley, and George and Eloisa Lujan.
Chris enjoyed sports, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Colorado Avalanche. His favorite sport was hockey. He loved music, played the guitar, and loved to dance. He could really bust a move on the dancefloor. He also loved mountain travels.
Chris leaves to cherish his memory, his children Shayla, Saleiah and Cyrus Shipley; mother, Ermelinda Lujan; brothers, Nathan (Emily) Shipley, Dominic Lujan, Danny Urban and Derek Shipley; his sister, Mari (Erick) Morales; best friend, Janelle Vigil, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
