Christopher David Cowart, 67, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on December 26, 2019. Christopher was born May 30, 1952, in Hialeah, FL to the late E.C. and Marjorie Cowart.
He came to Port St. Lucie in 1980 from Charleston, SC; Christopher was a firefighter working for Pratt & Whitney Aerospace Company before his retirement. Christopher was a veteran, serving in the United States Navy; he loved to fish, was passionate about Clemson football, and enjoyed watching his grandson play baseball, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Christopher is preceded in death by his brother, Evan Cowart.
He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 46 years, Deborah Cowart; children, Christopher Shane Cowart (Tracy), Shannon Cowart; grandchildren, Salvatore Laimo III, Logan Cowart, Trevor Cowart; brothers, Phillip Cowart (Lynn), Bruce Cowart; beloved dog, Dolly.
