Christopher Allen Brittain was born in Orange Park, FL on October 12, 1986. He was the beloved son of Karen Brittain Smith and the late Allen Ray Brittain.
Christopher grew up in Newnan, GA attending White Oak Elementary, Arnall Middle School, and East Coweta High School. He played drums and was a member of the drumline at East Coweta. After graduation in 2005, he toured with the band “Big City Dreams”. Moving to Athens, he attended school receiving his EMT license. After relocating back to Newnan, Christopher worked for Central EMS, and later as an installation specialist at Solutions Incorporated. Upon catching the acting bug, he began acting as a background artist for Extras Casting Atlanta. He attended Crossroads Church. Christopher was a fun-loving individual and compassionate friend. He enjoyed fishing and finding antiquities with his metal detector, and especially loved his dog, Lilly.
He is survived by his devoted mother Karen Brittain Smith, and stepfather Allen Smith as well as aunts and uncles, Rosemary and James Brittain, Gary and Melanie Brittain, Linda Brittain, Keith Colamarino, Ken Colamarino; cousins, Kristi Moss, Jeremy Brittain, Caleb Brittain, Allison Simmes, Natalie Avery, Hannah Medina, Michelle Gilbert, Kelly Davis, K.C. Colamarino, Karen Williams, Juliana Barnes, and Doug Williams. Christopher was also loved by numerous extended family members in Pennsylvania and Virginia. He attended the ministry of Celebrate Recovery at SonRise Baptist Church with a heart for those who were depressed and hurting as he understood their pain. He will be missed by so many.
