Christine Steele, 90 of Aberdeen, MD, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017.
Born in Enns, Austria, on February 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Franz and Christine (Bachinger) Steiner. She was the wife of the late Donald Ray Steele, Sr.
Mrs. Steele was a member of Welcome Home Freewill Baptist Church, Bel Air, MD.
She enjoyed gardening, baking, eating dark chocolate and travelling to many different places. She loved going shopping with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son: Donald R. Steele, Jr. and daughter-in-law: Tina M. Steele of Conowingo, MD and daughter: Christine Graf of Enns, Upper Austria; 5 siblings: Angela Bock, Franz Steiner, Walter Steiner, Otto Steiner and Karl Bachinger; 5 grandchildren: Heike Berger, Gerald Graf, Rebecca Norton, Lyndsay Steele, Taylor Steele; and 4 great grandchildren: Jutta Berger, Nora Berger, Lisa Graf and Moritz Graf.
