Christine R. Amenta, 59, of Forestville, passed away on Sunday October, 5, 2008 at Countryside Manor. Christine was born on September 18, 1949 in New Britain a daughter of the late Elmer and June (Rich) Runkey.
Mrs. Amenta worked at Aetna for 22 years as a Communications Analyst and then went on to work for Grove Hill Medical Center until her illness. A defining characteristic of Christine was her strong work ethic.
She is survived by her husband Richard Amenta of Forestville; her son Bryan Amenta of Forestville; her sister and brother-in-law Lisa and John Neveu of Terryville; her brother Christopher Runkey of Florida; her dog Buddy and many close friends and nieces and nephews.
