Christine Marie Lynch died peacefully on July 30, 2015 in Naperville, IL at the age of 42.
Christy is survived by her mom, Mary Ellen Lynch, brothers Michael (Christina), Patrick, Joe (Jenny), and Dennis (Amanda). Fond aunt to Kevin, Brian, AJ, Sydney and Graham.
Christy was born on May 18, 1973 in Evergreen Park to James Patrick and Mary Ellen O’Shea Lynch. She graduated from Quincy College in 1995 with a degree in Computer Science. Christy worked at various jobs including Glenayre and Rescigno’s Marketing Communications before taking her passion of music and photography to her next career path.
Christy began attending shows for the band Maggie Speaks in the early 2000’s. Due to her outgoing personality and love of music, the band approached her in 2008 to take pictures of fans at performances and gather email addresses for their mailing list. By the end of 2008, Christy had done such an amazing job, that the band hired her to head up their entire marketing efforts, handling website and social media posts, print and digital collateral and street team efforts. As the organization expanded over the years to its current size of 5 bands, Christy’s responsibilities and involvement grew. In April of 2014, Christy accepted a full-time position of Director of Operations for both Magnificent Events and Maggie Speaks. Being a jack of all trades and an old school figure it out kind of person, Christy handled everything from accounting, marketing, advertising, event management and human resources.
Christy was a fun loving daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, friend and colleague. Her sense of humor and smile would fill the room with love and laughter. She cherished her time with her nephews, taking them to the museums downtown and having sleepovers with Aunt Christy. She was a member of St.
