Christine Lynn (Briles) Bez, 53, of Grayslake, IL, passed away at her residence on April 5, 2021, after a long struggle with cancer.
She was born on October 29, 1967, in Anderson, IN, to Richard and Beverly (Fischer) Briles. Christy graduated from Anderson High School in 1985, and Purdue University with a degree in Industrial Management. She then earned her MBA from Lake Forest College. Christy worked for Baxter Health and Cardinal Health before starting to work for Kerry Industries North America in Supply Chain Management. She attended St. Mark Lutheran Church in Lindenhurst, IL, member of First United Methodist Church in Anderson, was an Alpha Phi sorority sister at Purdue and was an active member of the Purdue Musical Organization (PMO). She was a very strong supporter and loved all types of animals, enjoyed traveling the world, but most importantly was her faith and family.
Christy is survived by her loving husband, Mark Bez; children, Emily and Logan Bez; parents, Richard and Beverly Briles; sister, Susan (Mat) Daoust; nephew and niece, Mason and Ryan Barnett; and many cousins and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and one brother-in-law.
