Christine Golaszewski of Edgewater Park died Sunday August 12, 2012 at Capital Health System, Fuld Campus, Trenton at the age of 81. Mrs. Golaszewski was born in Poland and settled in Brooklyn, NY when she came to the United States. She later moved to Trenton, where she lived for many years before moving to Edgewater Park. Christine loved her family and spent most of her time caring for her daughter Bobbie.
She loved plants and enjoyed gardening in her spare time. She was also an excellent cook and bapcia as she was known to her grandchildren made the best placki (potato pancakes) and golabki (stuffed cabbage). She was also a parishioner of All Saints R.C. Church in Burlington. Wife of the late Marion A. “Tony” Golaszewski and mother of the late Barbara “Bobbie” Golaszewski and Donna Golaszewski – Hewitt, Christine is survived by her son in law Michael Hewitt, her grandchildren Jessica, Anthony, Justin and Brooklynn Hewitt, her brother in law Henry Golaszewski, sister in law Antoinette “Ann” Giamanco as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
