Christine G. Sampson, age 69 years, of Plymouth, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the home of her sister Nancy, following a brief illness. She was the daughter of Stanley Burgess of Kingston, and the late Mildred (Monti) Burgess. Born in Plymouth, she was raised in Brockton. A graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1970, she worked as a corrections officer at MCI – Framingham for 23 years. Christine loved gambling, especially Bingo and slot machines, and going on cruises. She was a quiet person with a great sense of humor. Besides her father, and his wife Gail, and her longtime companion Raymond Maxim Sr., she is survived by her children, Anthony (Tony) Sampson of New Hampshire, A.J. Sampson of Norton, Alison Sampson of North Attleboro, Raymond “Joshua” Maxim of Plymouth, David Maxim of North Attleboro, and Sandra Maxim . Also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Anthony Sampson of Bridgewater, Tyler Sampson of Greenwich, RI, Garrett Sampson of Norton, Sophia Sampson of New Hampshire and April Maxim of North Attleboro. She was the sister of Nancy Pratt of Plymouth, Susan Stevenson of Marlboro, Patti Gunnarson of Marshfield, and Stanley “Lee” Burgess of Kingston..
