Christine Louise Fontenot was born November 29, 1942 in Poplar, Montana to George and Mercedes Weeks.
Christine spent many years as a Certified Nurses Aide in Spokane, Washington where she and Dudley raised their five children. After moving to Boise, Idaho Christine spent many years as an in-home caregiver dedicating her time and talents caring for two elderly special needs ladies. She had a gift for finding effective ways to bring structure and consistency to kids, animals and anyone she cared for. She was an avid reader who loved telling stories to her grandchildren about her Christian faith and her Native American heritage.
Christine is survived by her husband Dudley Allen Fontenot, her five children, Sue Agtuca (Kenny), Darrell “Dan” Fontenot (Tina), Christina “Tina” McNairy (Jerry), Darren Fontenot (Dallis), Julia Herschberger (Ed), 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and siblings Marie Morris (Gene), Francis A. Flynn (Sidney) and Wade Weeks. As the matriarch of the family, she will be dearly missed.
