Christine Bulls, 80, of Belton returned to live with her Heavenly Father on March 19, 2017 after a short battle with cancer.

Christine was born on March 27, 1936 in Comanche, Texas. As a small child she moved to Belton where she grew up making many childhood memories to include attending school, building friendships, and working at the local drugstore. She moved to Temple after marrying Richard Bulls on June 11, 1955 where she began and raised her family, making their house a home for 51 years. Christine’s family and faith were very important to her throughout her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She had many simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music and taking long rides in the country on a sunny day. Her biggest joy was spending time with family. She loved to attend family parties and picnics.  She was kept busy by cheering on her kids and grandkids at their various sporting events. Christine enjoyed traveling whether it be a short day trip, time on a cruise, or a long road trip many memories were made. She will always be remembered for her dedication to her family, sense of humor, back scratches, and of course time spent in the kitchen with her telling stories and making cookies.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Bulls, parents Demmer Milton “Pat” Rush, Juanita Pauline Adams-Rush and Dessie Rush, two brothers Royce Smythe and James Rush, one sister Pauline Turner, and son-in-law John Moon.

Survivors include one son, Larry Bulls and wife, Cheryl of Temple, and four daughters, Connie Franks of Belton, Tammy Bulls of Belton, Patti Tomasek and husband, Joey of Georgetown, and Kandee Moon of Belton, one brother Kenneth Rush, and wife Joann of Temple, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
