Christine Anne Murphy-Stark, 64, of Newnan, GA passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 25, 1952 Boston, MA to the late Edwin Augustin Murphy and Gertrude Elizabeth Towhill Murphy.
Christine worked for many years as an Engineering Assistant for the Coweta Fayette EMC. She loved to ride her Harley-Davidson and she previously served as director of Ladies of Harley. Christine was always thinking of others and that was evident in her many charitable pursuits.
She is survived by her husband, Ervin “Doc” Stark; children, Katie (Andrew) Knowles, Matthew (Kristi) Goldner, Gabriel Goldner, Daniel (Rev. Dr. Curtis Michael Brown, III) Coffman, Carrie Campora, Kristin (1st Sgt. Dale) Hughes, Lt. Commander Joseph (Pam) Stark, Andrew Stark; sisters, Patricia (Lenny) Lapenta, Marueeen (Ret. General Glen) Cassidy, Kathleen (John) Hall; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and Stinkers the cat.
