Christine Ann White, 53, of Williamsport went to be with the lord early Thursday morning, Jan. 11, 2018.
Born Oct. 19, 1964, to William Asher Updegraff and Lillian Beverly Folmer, she was raised in South Williamsport and graduated from South Williamsport High School. Christine married Paul W. White on August 18, 2013, in Williamsport and recently they traveled to Gettysburg to relive their honeymoon where they took in the history all around them, doing what they love.
Christine retired from the medical field and was a former firefighter. She enjoyed playing Pokemon Go and Scrabble, crocheting, learning about history and watching Elsa the Pug videos.
When she was able to she attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. The most important thing to her was spending time with her family. The children put a sparkle in her life.
Surviving in addition to her husband are; a step daughter Angie Hill, sisters, Marsha Minnella (Tony), Ida Clayton, Bonnie Kane (Jamie Prince); aunt Betty Bloomer; uncle, James Updegraff; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Crompton III; aunts Janet Bullock and Marian Quiggle; a daughter, Kendra Bickel; two brothers, Larry Curtis and Ralph
J. Rearick; two brothers-in-law, Bruce Kane and William Clayton; two sisters, Minnie Jessie and Ella Marie; and grandmother Jessie Folmar.
