Christine A. Senanefes, age 52, of Columbus, formerly of Salem, died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at her home following a long illness. She was born October 23, 1961 in Salem, daughter of Chryssanthi “Noula” (Kefala) Senanefes and the late James Senanefes. She was a graduate of the University of Akron and worked for Ohio Health for 17 years. Even though she was battling a tough illness, she managed to complete her nursing school at Fortis Nursing School in Columbus and practice nursing as a registered nurse for a year at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Christine was a member of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Youngstown. Survivors include her mother, Chryssanthi “Noula” Senanefes of Salem; a brother, Michael G. (Misty) Senanefes of Columbus; a niece, Taylor of Cleveland; and a nephew, Zachary “Bootle Bug” of Columbus.
