Christine Doherty (Kassiotis) – Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 8 at Kaplan Family Hospice House. She was the devoted wife of Robert , for whom she provided love and care for until her own illness this past year. Loving mother to Dante Villani III and his wife Shannon, Samantha Sweeney and her husband Brian, JP Doherty and his wife Michelle. Loving stepmother to Robbie Doherty and his wife Joanie. Her grandchildren were the joys of her life; grandmother to Nolan Holiday-Rubi, Brian Sweeney Jr., Jamie and Addison Doherty, and Dillon, Logan, and Colton Doherty. Preceded in eternal rest by her parents Peter and Constance (Mikulski) Kassiotis.
Christine was considered a “second mom” to her children’s friends and was known to have an open door and kind heart for anyone that needed help. She loved animals and always had water bowls and bird feeders around her home. She will be sincerely missed by all those who knew and loved her.
