Christina Yvonne (Wyckoff) Shaver, age 40, Grafton, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Warren, OH, October 25, 1973, a daughter of the late James and Nila Jean (Smith) Wyckoff. Her stepfather Tom Workman, and wife Carol, survives of Grafton.
Christina was a 1992 graduate of Grafton High School. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother, she often said her children were “the joy of her heart.i½i¿½i¿½ She formerly worked at Morgantown Hospice as a CNA, and was a certified physical therapy assistant. Christina enjoyed music, she liked to sing and play her guitar. She also enjoyed sports and gymnastics.
Surviving are: one daughter, Sabrina Shaver, of Fairmont; one son, Curtis Shaver, of Fairmont; five sisters, Laura Holcomb and husband David, of Grafton, Nina McMasters and companion Ron Phillips, of Fellowsville, Brenda Wyckoff, of Morgantown, Alice Wyckoff, of Huntington, Anna Wyckoff Griffin, of IN, three brothers, Robert Wyckoff and companion Melinda Lasley, Jimmie Lee Wyckoff, and JT Wyckoff, all of Grafton; maternal grandfather Hoy Smith and wife Sue, of MI; one brother in law, John Coon, of Grafton; a special aunt, Sandra Mayle, of Grafton; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and two best friends, Louisa (Massie) Ware, and Stephanie Hott, both of Grafton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: maternal grandmother, Madeline Smith; paternal grandparents, Hadley and Alice Wyckoff; two sisters, Julia Coon, and Rachell Wyckoff.
