Christina “Pat” (nee Claus) Mulheran, 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Pat was the loving wife of Charlie Deblon who passed away in 1966. She later married Frank Mulheran who died in 2011. Born in North Bergen, New Jersey, Pat grew up and lived much of her life in New Jersey before moving to Vermont and then traveling the country, and finally settling in Alabama.
Pat is remembered as the loving mother of Charlie Deblon and his wife, Becky, with whom she has resided for the last several years as well as daughter Joyce Luttrell and her husband Mark, daughter Teresa Kartischko and her husband Mark, son George Deblon and his partner Kerry Gilbert, and daughter Patti Rock as well as step-mom to Timmy Mulheran, Jeanney Agnelll, Kathie Kania and Janet Hughs. Dear sister of the late William Claus, the late Eileen Lukich, Elizabeth Pezzatti, the late Carol Adams and Richard Claus. Cherished grandma of Jamin P. Martindale, Belinda Harwell, LeeAnn Brown, Christopher Brown, Christina Brown, Dan Brown, Ryan Brown, Courtney Larocque, Dylan Pratt, Megan Pratt, Jared Rock, Linnea Rock, Elijah Rock, Isaiah Rock, Abram Rock and Gabriel Rock. Great-grandma of Jamin A. Martindale, Alyssa Martindale, Ashlie Howard, Amber Harwell, Maryssa Blanche and Johnluke Larocque.
Coming from a large and loving family, Pat is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pat spent many years working alongside her husband, Charlie helping to run his family’s business, Jerry’s Oval Bar (now Andy’s Corner Bar) in Bogota, NJ. She then spent many years working at Sears in Hackensack, NJ. She will be remembered as a hardworking, loving woman with a seriously wonderful sense of humor.
