A lifelong resident of Danvers, Christina passed away peacefully in her home on March 10, 2021, at the age of 49, after a courageous battle with recurrent throat cancer. She was born on September 5, 1971, in Winchester, MA, a devoted daughter of Faye P. (Shaw) Ramsay of Danvers and the late Paul E. Ramsay. Christina leaves behind her two brothers Paul Ramsay, and his wife Marisol, and their daughter Natasha; Ken Ramsay, and his wife Sharon and their children, Ryan and Sabrina. Also leaving her aunt and uncle, Bertie and Frank North. She was also dearly loved by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins, who all knew how special she was.
Christina excelled as a student, attending Bishop Fenwick High School and later graduating from Simmons University with a degree in Nutrition in 1997. She went on to work successfully in Pharmaceutical Sales.
She was a lifelong animal lover, devoted for fourteen years to her cherished black lab, Cole.
She was an avid sports enthusiast. Growing up she played field hockey, soccer, softball, and enjoyed golfing with her father. She was a passionate Boston sports fan, listening to endless hours of talk radio and never missing a game when the Patriots or Red Sox were playing. Her competitive nature extended to family game nights, with lively rounds of Scat, Bid Whist, Yahtzee, and Left-Right-Center. Gone much too soon, she will be deeply missed.
Christina’s family is grateful for the loving care she received from the dedicated therapists at the Spaulding Outpatient Centers.
