It is said that the two most important days in one’s life are the day you are born and the day you find out why. From your very first moments, you are blessed with an army of people that love you without even knowing who you are or who you will become. Some of these encounters are inevitable and some are fate, but all the while your plan will be guided to the answer to that lingering question… why?
Christina Whalen lived her life knowing that there is a plan and that we all have a purpose. She found her purpose in being a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend and that is what most truly gave her life. These were the things that were bigger than her sickness, her pain, and her fears and what gave her strength to fight her battle. Today she didn’t give up her battle, she fulfilled her plan, and surrounded by those that gave her that purpose she spent her last birthday in this life and her first birthday with her father whom she had been so patiently waiting to meet again in the next.
Christina “Chris” Renee Whalen was born October 5, 1973, in Goshen, Indiana, to James and Janet Bedwell and passed away October 5, 2021.
