Christina Amy Carlson, age 74 of Sugar Hill, Georgia passed away on January 1, 2020 and is now at peace after a 10-year long battle with COPD.

Christina was born in England on July 28, 1945 to George and Emily Moore.

She pursued a career in nursing which brought her here to the states where she started her family and would eventually stay. She would often tell stories of her time in Hollywood and of her years growing up after the war in England.

In the early years of the computer industry, Christina changed professions. She ultimately made a name for herself by becoming a successful businesswoman.

Christina was also an avid gardener and obtained her Master Gardening status. She spent many hours and hard work making her garden one that delighted her friends and family. Even gaining natural habitat status while owning her home. If you had a question about plants, she was the one to ask.

She was also an animal lover. Sharing her home with everything from dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits and birds.
She would say she kept her home for the comfort of her animals.

Family and friends will remember Christina as a strong, independent woman and a devoted grandmother: Mum Mum, as her grand kids called her.

Christina is survived by her son, Mathew Carlson (wife Pamela); grandson, Erik Carlson; granddaughters, Emma Carlson and Katie Carlson.

She is predeceased by her parents; her sisters Kathryn, Pam and Pat; and her son, Christopher Carlson
