The world lost a beloved wife and mother, Christie Solomon, on February 5, 2021. Christie died surrounded by her husband, her daughters and many friends.
She was born on January 6, 1974 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Sacramento, CA. Family was everything to Christie. Her love for her husband and daughters was unwavering. The relationship between Keith and Christie was truly amazing. They were together for 28 years and their love remained strong. Christie was a stay-at-home mom for a long time. After the girls were of school age, Christie worked outside the home, however, she remained very involved in their lives. Christie loved playing softball with her girls, having barbeques in the summer and building memories with her family camping in Old Forge. Whether it be a volleyball game, or a choir concert, she was always there cheering her daughters on, but her granddaughters were the light of her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her mother.
She is predeceased by her father, Corky Huante. She leaves behind her mother, Elizabeth Drake, and stepfather, Gary Drake. She is survived by her husband, Keith Solomon; her daughters, Jordan (Tanner Smith), and Hannah. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Addison, Keigan, and Harley, as well as her brother, Fred, his wife, Lisa, and their children, Fred Jr. and Gavin.
