Christian Michael Scinto, of Black Rock, CT went home to Jesus unexpectedly on Saturday, August 6, 2022 after recently celebrating his 54th birthday.  Chris was born on August 2nd, 1968 to Marianne and Jefferson Scinto, formerly of Southport, CT.  As a child, Chris enjoyed rugby, football, and the New York Yankees.  Chris played basketball at St. Pius X, and football and rugby at Fairfield Prep, where he scored a game winning interception.  He was also a class clown, calling local radios to request snow days off of school and getting detention for cart-wheeling in class.

Chris was a PE and had obtained a degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, where he often made the dean’s list. While attending university, Chris continued playing rugby as he had during high school. The friendships Chris made while at St. Pius School, Fairfield Prep, and Northeastern lasted through his life. Most recently, Chris was working as a project manager at M. J. Daly.

Chris was a proud father to Caroline and Christian Scinto, who are currently pursuing their education through Coastal Carolina and University of Maine.  He is a dedicated Godfather to niece Lorelei, and adoring Uncle to niece Violet.  Family was an important part of Chris’ life.  He enjoyed time with them by eating out for dinner, Yankee and New York Giants games, and walking at St. Mary’s By the Sea. Chris will be remembered as a joyful man with a contagious laugh who always put others before himself.

In addition to his beloved children, Caroline and Christian, Chris is survived by his parents; Marianne and Jefferson; siblings, Jefferson, John, Kimberly (Noel); his nieces Lorelei and Violet; his former wife, Karen; as well as a multitude of friends and extended family. Chris is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Catherine Scinto; and maternal grandparents, Pearl and Eugene Pavel.
