Christa (Trunk) Martinez, 80, of Whiteland, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 14th, 2019 in Whiteland.
Christa was born in Kuhlsheim, Germany on April 17, 1939 to the late Franz Trunk and Hedwig (Seitz) Trunk.
Christa loved food culture, and traveling. She was always talking about the different foods and ways of cooking. She collected tea sets. She was an intelligent lady who liked to read a lot. She loved western and lifetime movies. She enjoyed gardening and her animals. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her family in Germany owned a trucking company called Trunk transportation. She was really into race cars. She loved the indy 500, the European auto racing, and going to the track.
Survivors include her children, Andria (Clint) Rathfon of New Whiteland, Indiana, Elizabeth Martinez of Ft. Knox, Kentucky; sisters, Elfriede Hertling of Germany and Gisela Herd of Germany.
Christa was preceded in death by her parents; son, Carlos Martinez; and brother, Willi Trunk.
