Christa Christensen, 60, of 1906 13th St., Peru, died at 5:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at her home. Mrs. Christensen was born Sept. 16, 1946, in Germany, to Erich and Lieselotte Classen.
She married Donald Carlin in 1965. She later married Kenneth A. Christensen in 1988 in Las Vegas, Nev. She was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship in Oglesby.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Kathy L. Saferite of Mason City, Ill., and Lora (Ed) Greenfield of Mason City, Ill.; 2 sons, Allen E. (Donna) Carlin of LaSalle and Kenneth E. Christensen of Peru; 6 grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Ingrid (Charles) Geib of Saarbrucken, Germany, and Erica of Dublin, France.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Mary Ann Carlin in infancy; and her husband, Kenneth, on Oct. 16, 2004.
