New Iberia – Chrisaden Adam Lasseigne, Sr. (54) entered eternal rest on June 4, 2022 at Iberia Medical Center. 

A resident of New Iberia, Mr. Lasseigne was born October 6, 1967, in Iberia Parish.  

Chris was an avid night fisherman.

He loved making people laugh.  He also enjoyed drawing sketches of the waterways of Sportsman’s’ Paradise.  Chrisaden was a former co-owner of Aden’s Hope.  His great passion for helping the elderly was portrayed through this business. 

Chris served a great purpose on this earth. He never met a stranger, and those that knew him have fond and delightful memories of him.  He loved his children and family immensely.  His granddaughter, Nevaeh, was the apple of his eye.

Chrisaden is survived by his son Chrisaden Adam Lasseigne, Jr. of New Iberia; daughters, Haley Guillotte and Jaiden Lasseigne; sisters, Valerie Roy (Scott), Tina Lasseigne, Peggy Milliman (Rusty), Wanda Myers (Steve), Jennifer Bodoin, Phyllis Leonard (Mark); brothers, Chad Lasseigne (Sharon), and Harold Myers, Jr.; granddaughter Nevaeh and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Myers, Sr., and Agnes Lasseigne; brother, Kurt Myers; sister, Gwendolyn Myers; maternal grandparents, Amilcar “Pete” and Louise T. Lasseigne; niece Ellen Claire Romero; and Aunt Tinnie Louise Lasseigne.
