Chris came into this world on March 1, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to Wesley Stone and Judy Stone Gerben.

Chris was a fun-loving guy who loved his red corvette; his boat and his love for fishing continued through his life; he often attended the annual Columbus Day regattas.
Chris was passionate about his love for his brothers, that he found in the Men’s Emmaus Retreats. As a changed man, Chris was a modern-day disciple of Jesus Christ having founded the Emmaus retreats in Pittsburgh, the Carolinas and Ft. Meyers. He was authentically unique and always laid it on the line with “no holds barred”. Chris was a Fisher of Men, leading hundreds back to God.
Chris adored his wife Liana “Muffy” Stone continually telling his friends how lucky he was to have met such a “hot smoking wife.” Their love for each other was an ideal example to married couples.
Chris adored his children and his family. He is survived by his son Brian Stone and wife Lisa, and their children Madelyn and Jonathan, Florida. His daughter Cari and husband Adam Conway and their children Kiley, Sierra and Kyanne, Nebraska.
